This is a blog post that has been on my “to read” list for a while. I finally got around to it today, and after yesterday’s post, I thought this piece by former Navy officer Hector Rosekrans would be a nice follow up.

Yesterday’s post discussed how asymmetric cryptography restructures power dynamics between the individual and the state by lowering the cost to defend ones property while simultaneously reducing return on violence. This is an critical idea to understand. So here is another helping, to further blast this theme into your cerebral cortex.
