Planting Bitcoin – Dan Held

Holy shit, it’s not even two weeks after posting my 2019 challenge and I’m falling way behind the pace of posting on average of twice per week.  I must do better!

To be fair, I have good reason–one afternoon a couple of weeks ago, I was frustrated with my quest to learn computer programming and abruptly decided to join a coding boot-camp in downtown Chicago.  It’s just begun, but it’s already taking up 12+ hours of my time each day, and a correspondingly large amount of mental bandwidth.  And there’s still two and a half months to go!  Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!!

Here’s another series of high quality bitcoin articles I’ve been reading.  This series is one among a few pieces of content I’ve seen lately describing bitcoin as a living organism.  This piqued my interest because a long while ago, I was telling friends that bitcoin is like a living entity–it constantly adapts to changes in it’s environment (at an astonishing rate) to find optimal footing to perpetuate itself.  It’s like a Hydra: chop off one of it’s heads, and it grows two more elsewhere.  It’s amazing to watch.
